Wilmington Healthy Feeding Program

With businesses starting to re-open their doors, we’re hoping to see some relief after a trying couple of months. Still, many people are in distress, and food banks and blood banks have been hit particularly hard. Dot is continuing to do what we can to help.
Healthy Feeding Program

Wilmington, Delaware’s Department of Parks and Recreation has distributed over 200,000 meals to children in the area through their Healthy Feeding Program. To help them with this initiative, we donated items such as yogurt and pies.

Care Package Giveaway

Urban LeagueThe Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis has donated items to over 17,000 families in the area throughout the pandemic. On May 16, they hosted a care package giveaway, distributing food and toiletries to over 3,000 families. We have been supporting the Urban League through donating our excess food.

Illinois Partners in Hope

Dot Foods Chicago has continued providing food for the Illinois Partners in Hope drive-through pantries. To date, we have donated over 3,000 cases to them.

Second Harvest

America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia has set up drive-through food distributions and allocated items to other food pantries in the area. Dot Foods Georgia has donated almost 35,000 pounds of food to the organization.

Jerome School District

Dot Foods Idaho has donated food to the Jerome School District, so they can continue distributing grab-and-go meals to local kids.

God’s Grain Bin

God’s Grain Bin is a New Castle, Indiana, pantry that has given food to over 600 families a week. They provide a grocery store setting where locals can “shop” for what they need. We have donated about 360 cases to the pantry.

Tennessee Children’s Lunch Program

Matthew 25:40 is a nonprofit organization in Dyersburg, Tennessee, that has been offering a kid’s feeding program that provides meals for over 400 children every day. Dot Foods Tennessee has contributed 11,000 pounds of food to the cause.
