Nobody should go hungry, and no food should go to waste. The coronavirus pandemic has made it even harder for vulnerable communities to get food, but nonprofit organizations and volunteers have stepped up to collect donations and distribute food to the people who need it most.
Our Dot charitable committees and volunteers are working hand-in-hand with nonprofits to ensure they have enough food to feed their communities. Because of you, food banks have received truckloads of product from our distribution centers. Because of you, 275,000 cases of food ended up in shelters, soup kitchens, and childcare facilities instead of going to waste. Because of you, people have safely received food donations through no-contact distribution methods.
On behalf of Dot Foods and Dot Transportation Inc. (DTI), we’d like to thank our charitable committees, volunteers, and the nonprofit organizations who have teamed up with them to make a difference. Learn more about our charity work by visiting our #CaringForOurCommunities page.
