As of March 16, 2020, Dot Foods and Dot Transportation, Inc. (DTI) will be prohibiting all non-essential visitors to all locations through May 1, 2020.
“Essential visitors” are being defined as anyone who is necessary to keep our business running. Essential visitors, such as common carriers, IT installers, regulatory authorities, mail/FedEx/UPS, and repair companies, will be allowed on the premises after they have filled out a brief health questionnaire and are not deemed a risk to the health and well-being of Dot employees.
We will not be accepting sales calls and visits from non-Dot business partners during this time, unless they are critical to business continuity.
Situations where meetings can be conducted virtually, tours or any non-business-related visits, spouses or family members, and sales calls and visits from non-Dot business partners will be discontinued until May 1, 2020.
Gate station and reception teams will be provided instructions on how to handle unexpected visitors.
We will still continue the hiring process for all positions. Much of the work we do in that area can be done via Zoom or over the phone. All of the work for internal hires should be done via Zoom or over the phone.
Warehouse and building tours that are currently part of the hiring process are suspended. Any walk-in applicants should be directed to the computer kiosks or encouraged to apply online.
